Position SummaryThe Department of Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo( SUNY ) is seeking outstanding applicants for a prestigious EmpireInnovation Professorship studying the broadly defined field ofmicrobiome science. Candidates with research interests in any areaof microbiome sciences are encouraged to apply. Work may be focusedat the molecular, cellular, systems or organismal level.Applicants should be at the Associate Professor or full Professorlevel, and lead a strong, federally funded, interdisciplinaryresearch program focusing on the microbiome. The successfulcandidate will be expected to participate in graduate andundergraduate teaching. The position will provide a 10-month,state-supported salary plus a competitive startup package.The University at Buffalo (UB) is the largest and mostcomprehensive campus in the State University of New York system.
