Sumner Newscow to start “30 days of Christmas in Sumner County” series in late November

first_imgby Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — With the Christmas season fast approaching, Sumner Newscow is launching a new series called “30 days of Christmas in Sumner County,” to help local merchants market their wares and educate the local citizens of what is available for them to purchase during the Christmas season.Starting in the latter part of November, Sumner Newscow will be featuring a retail business a day – giving a brief history of the business, picture of the business and the Christmas specials. We are looking at this as a 24-hour sale kind of thing, much like Black Friday promotion or a “Shop at home” special. But it will be a specific business day.Take a look at this post written in 2012 to see how we are promoting a business.  http://www.sumnernewscow.com/countryside-sidewalk-trading-post-is-more-than-a-firearm-store/ This is what we call an ad blog roll placed among other pertinent news stories of the day and is linked from a display on the left and right. For those already advertising with Sumner Newscow it won’t cost you a thing. For those who are not currently advertising, this will give you an opportunity to take advantage of advertising specials. You can take advantage of six month specials or one-time ad blogs. While we urge local residents to shop at home first, we also realize businesses need to maximize their marketability. A Christmas gift isn’t necessarily a Playstation game, or a sweater; gift certificates or evenings out on the town can make a great gift.Businesses, send us an e-mail at [email protected] to lock down a day and we’ll proceed with your promotion. Don’t let another Christmas season pass you by without maximizing your potential profit margins.last_img
