first_imgKILLYBEGS and Bundoran have advanced to the Senior Championship quarter-finals after tonight’s replays.Killybegs beat Fanad by 1-13 to 0-11 at MacCumhaill Park while Bundoran saw off Glenfin in the other replay by 1-11 to 0-08.In Ballybofey a 24th minute goal from Brendan Boyle saw the Killybegs men take a grip on the game but only at the second time of asking. Fanad’s Mark McConigley saved the penalty but Boyle followed up the rebound to hit the ball home. The Gaels trailed by five points at half-time, 1-07 to 0-05, and it proved to be too big of a gap to close.Peter McGonagle’s second half goal for Bundoran proved decisive in the other replay tonight in Ardara.Glenfin were just two points adrift at half time, 0-06 to 0-04, but that goal and some cool pointing from Michael McEniff and Ciaran McCaughey saw Killybegs home with six points to spare. Killybegs will now play the winners of the St Eunan’s v Kilcar replay tomorrow night.Bundoran will face Naomh Conaill. GAA: KILLYBEGS AND BUNDORAN ADVANCE TO SFC QUARTER FINALS was last modified: October 10th, 2012 by BrendaShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:GAA: KILLYBEGS AND BUNDORAN ADVANCE TO SFC QUARTER FINALSlast_img
