INDOOR FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT ORGANISED IN MEMORY OF MEN KILLED IN TRAGIC ROAD ACCIDENT

first_imgFOOTBALL: A memorial indoor football tournament will be held by Illies Celtic FC – in memory of two former players who were killed in Ireland’s worst ever road traffic accident. Eamon and PJ McLaughlin were killed on July 11th 2010 – when the car they were travelling in crashed outside Clonmany.Six others were killed in the car crash which is the single worst road traffic accident in the history of the state. Representatives of Illies Celtic FC have announced details of a memorial indoor tournament that will take place this Friday at 8pm.The club posted the following on the club’s Facebook feed, “Illies Celtic F.C. Eamon McDaid & PJ McLaughlin Memorial Indoor Football tournament will take place on Friday Oct. 16th in the Community Hall, Druminderry.“Commencing at 8.00pm.
